24HR GAMING CHARITY CHALLENGE!

SPECIAL_EFFECT

If you’ve made your way here, you’ll probably know that we at Monkey Tail LOVE video games. We couldn’t imagine not being able to take part in our favourite pastime, but for many people that is a stark reality. Therefore we have decided to use our love of gaming to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Starting from 8pm on Friday 23rd August, the Monkey Tail team will be embarking on a 24hr gaming marathon. 24hrs of top level gaming, zero hours of sleep. We are doing this to raise money for Special Effect (http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/), a fantastic charity that put fun, inclusion and confidence back into the lives of people with disabilities through the medium of video games. Make no mistake, this will be a TOUGH challenge, but that’s the sort of thing we relish here at Monkey Tail!

Here’s the important bit; please please PLEASE take just a minute to sponsor us in our challenger. Our JustGiving link is here: http://www.justgiving.com/monkeytailuk and we would very much appreciate any and all donations. We will, of course, be covering the event in full here at http://monkeytail.co.uk/ so stay tuned for updates!

  1. Well….I have sent it to some of my contacts in the MMOs community perhaps some of the….more resistant….folks will realize MMOs are just a big part of the gaming world and not just consoles and deserve our “words” to be spread. All gaming styles should be celebrated. So please…don’t be so biased, we deserve a share in the gaming community as much as any should.
